HI-FOG (water mist) Fire Testing and Approvals

In terms of land operations, Marioff has participated in the standardization work of the NFPA 750 water mist committee (USA) and CEN water mist Working Group under Technical Committee CEN/TC191 (Europe) since their inception in 1993 and 1999 respectively. Marioff’s expertise has been further utilized through the formation and implementation of water mist standards in different countries.

Due to its extensive testing, Marioff has a large portfolio of type approvals for different applications both at sea and on land – including a variety of marine type approvals from all the major classification societies. On land, the widest selection of type approvals is from FM Approvals / USA and VdS / Germany, along with different national level approvals.
